a few of my favorite things


 Believe me when I say that the best things in life are not tangible. That doesn't, however, take away from the thrill you get when you find the perfect new pair of shoes or sparkly pen for the upcoming school year.  Recently, I have either bought or been gifted some pretty cool things that I think are worth talking about on here. Hopefully you can take something away from this. Enjoy!

My mom just ordered a pair of Tretorn shoes for herself and told me she loved wearing them back when she was in high school. I loved them so much that I made it the number one item on my birthday wish list! Luckily my wish was granted and now I have my own pair in a different style! I love these shoes and would definitely recommend them. (yay for sparkly laces!)


I also got these shoes for the upcoming school year and I am so excited to have a comfy casual shoe I can wear everyday. I probably wouldn't have picked these out just seeing the pictures online, but I picked them out in-store and think they look much cuter in-person!


I gave in to the trend and finally got a hydroflask. I saw them all over everywhere, and knew they had to be popular for a reason. After doing a little research, I found out they are actually very high quality and are meant for keeping drinks extra cold. I got rid of my old water bottle and made the switch to this hydroflask.  It has actually made me want to drink way more water because it does keep it so cold, even after having it lay out for hours. Plus I love the yellow- so fun!

I received this beautiful and amazing planner for my birthday and I am obsessed. I've had a ban.do planner before and I used it every single day of the school year. They are such works of art and make it very easy to stay organized! You may just need one for this upcoming school year!

I just ordered this lettering set and I am beyond excited to use it! I haven't used it yet myself so I can't give my opinion, but it gets great reviews and I think it will be a perfect set for me to start practicing my hand lettering! 
I also just purchased these sunglasses at Sunglass Hut while on vacation and I could cry I love them so much. I think they are so fun and unique!

The First Week Of School- OOTW

Hey guys! Back to school season is here, and I have mixed emotions. I'm super excited for Fall fashion, but I hate leaving behind the relaxing days of Summer!  The first week is a super stressful time, but having cute outfits makes it a lot easier!  Here are 5 outfits to inspire you, and to personalize for your own style.
