Have The Best Summer Ever!
Hey guys! Today's post is a little different than the typical thing you'd see here on My Everyday Runway. I wanted to give you some ideas you should definitely try this summer! Let's get started!
(1) Biking & Running!
I personally love a good morning run, and bike rides are fun for hot Summer days. They are both excellent ways to get your blood pumping, along with having fun. If you don't usually like to run or bike, start slow & go with some friends.
(2) Try New Water Activities!
My family has an amazing opportunity to visit our grandparent's cabin by the lake. We go every summer, and it's such a blast. If you don't have a place by water to visit, most cities have local lakes with opportunities for water sports. If you live in the Twin Cities, Lake Calhoun & Lake Harriet are both are awesome places to go! I personally love to rent paddle boats with friends at Centennial Lakes.
(3) Go On A Hike With Friends!
I love hiking, and it's so much fun to go with friends or family. My sister & I actually climbed a local fire tower while we were at the lake!
(4) Try Mini Golfing!
It's such a fun activity for a cool Summer day! You don't have to be good, just have fun! I surprised everyone when I actually got a hole-in-one!
(5) Embrace Your Lazy Days!
Summer is all about kicking back and relaxing. Embrace your lazy days by reading books, having a spa night, or watching all 6 seasons of Parks & Recreation.
Also, I wanted you guys to meet my "photographer." This is my sister, Shelby. She takes all the pictures here on My Everyday Runway. I really appreciate her & all she does.
