Versatility In Your Wardrobe- Dresses
Hey fellow fashionistas! A really important thing in anyone's wardrobe is versatility. I mean, you can't wear one item and never wear it again! Mixing and matching outfits is something fashionistas pride themselves on all around the world. I try my hardest to create a completely new look with all my clothes. The cool thing is, nobody will know if you wear the same shirt twice in the school week! You will accessorize and pair it totally different!
I'm going to show you how to create the illusion that you own a lot of clothes, when the reality is.. you're just a master of outfit creating.
Ok, there's a twist! A lot of people think of separates for mixing & matching, and they usually think of dresses as a one-time dressy outfit. Dresses can be made super casual!
The looks created today will all include a dress! Don't be afraid to rock one to school or just running errands, these are super comfy and laid back!
(1) Add a button down under one of your favorite dresses! It tones down the feminine look of the dress, and goes for a preppy twist. Remember, don't be afraid to mix prints and patterns!
(2) This is for sure my favorite look, I guess I'm a sucker for ultimate coziness. :)
Adding a sweater works for a lot of dresses, but not straight fits. Try dresses with a full skirt and fitted top.
(3) This is probably the easiest form of dress versatility. Just add different cardigans, and maybe even some statement jewelry. The jacket listed above is a super cool fitted denim jacket, which looks more polished than the traditional jean jacket.
