Running Essentials!

Image
Hey guys! This post is all about running. I absolutely love to run!  It's an outlet for me, and it makes me feel really good! I'm on my school's XC team, and we practice everyday. If you guys are into running, or any other sports- this post may be helpful! Here are a few of my fitness must-haves! (1)  My Arm Band I love listening to music when I run. Before I had this, I was just carrying my phone- super inefficient. Although I can't use this for XC, this is perfect for leisure runs. This fits my iPhone 5c perfectly, and has a nice pocket inside for a key or cards. It is super easy to put on, and really awesome quality. Highly recommend! obviously listening to T-Swift :) (2) Running Outfit 1 This is a pretty typical outfit for me. It works great for Summer, Spring, & early Fall runs. Everything is so comfortable!   Top (Similar) I love this Asics top- and the cool thing is I got it thrifted! These exact shorts are out of stock, but  here...

Have The Best Summer Ever!

Image
Hey guys! Today's post is a little different than the typical thing you'd see here on My Everyday Runway. I wanted to give you some ideas you should definitely try this summer! Let's get started! (1) Biking & Running! I personally love a good morning run, and bike rides are fun for hot Summer days. They are both excellent ways to get your blood pumping, along with having fun. If you don't usually like to run or bike, start slow & go with some friends. (2) Try New Water Activities! My family has an amazing opportunity to visit our grandparent's cabin by the lake. We go every summer, and it's such a blast. If you don't have a place by water to visit, most cities have local lakes with opportunities for water sports. If you live in the Twin Cities, Lake Calhoun & Lake Harriet are both are awesome places to go! I personally love to rent paddle boats with friends at Centennial Lakes. (3) Go On A Hike With Friends!  I love hiking,...

An Easy Look For The 4th!

Image
Hey guys! The Summer has flew by & the 4th of July is quickly approaching! I wanted to help you guys out with an easy laid-back look. This will include hair, nails, and an outfit. I am the first to admit, I don't spend any time on my hair during the Summer. I usually just go for my same ponytail look. Today's look is beyond easy, but a fun way to spice up your everyday ponytail. (1) Spray Beach Spray throughout your hair. Although this is optional, this will give your hair some nice texture for this messy look! I love  this one . It's super inexpensive, and works really well for my hair. (2) Gather three sections of hair on the top of your head and loosely braid. (3) Stop the braid about 1/2 way, & secure all of your hair with a ponytail. You're done! Easy as 1-2-3 for lazy girls like me.  I love white nails all-year-round, but I really love them for the 4th! Here is a super easy and cute nail look for the 4th!  (1) Paint your nails white. Make ...

Change Up Your Wardrobe for Summer!

Image
Hey guys! Summer is soooo close, and I'm really excited!! Not only is school out, but it's finally time for summer fashion! Today I'm going to show you five easy ways to change up your look for summer without buying a whole new wardrobe. Let's get started! (1) Switch To White Jeans I love wearing white jeans on the cooler summer days & nights. They are so much brighter than your normal jeans. (2) Simplify Your Jewelry I love statement jewelry, but for summer I like to keep it really simple. I love rings & delicate necklaces. (3) Switch To Cardigans During the winter, heavy sweaters were a go-to item. Cardigans are much easier for summer! (4) Cropped Sweaters If you really want to wear sweaters throughout the summer, try cropped sweaters. They look super cute with skirts and shorts. (5) Reflective Sunnies Reflective sunnies are a huge trend right now, and they are personally one of my favorites. You can buy really cheap ones at F...

Monthly Must-Haves: April

Image
Hey guys! April's been a pretty busy month. Violin recitals, track training, and my family's annual campout. May won't slow down much either, with weddings to attend and another round of concerts. Not to mention school testing..ugh. On the bright side, I picked up a few amazing items I wanted to share with you.  I decided to link up some of my favorites for today's post.  I'm in love with  these jeans , the crisp white is so cute for summer! And, they are beyond comfy!  While I was at Madewell, I picked up a lightweight knit cropped sweater in navy blue. I've worn it so many times in the last 2 weeks, it is so comfy & cute. I couldn't find the exact one online, but I linked the  sweater section .  This  dress is so stunning! I absolutely love simple silhouette & pretty eyelet detailing.  I'm not one to wear rings, but I absolutely love this  one by Madewell . It's a bold statement that compliments any look perfe...

Your Perfect Spring Dress!

Image
Hey fellow fashionistas! Spring is absolutely my favorite season, especially when it comes to my wardrobe. My more feminine style is showcased when the weather warms up. I tend to lean towards brighter hues, florals, and chambray over denim.  Today's outfit post features one of my favorite Spring/Summer dresses. Hope you enjoy! No worries if you're not 5'8, this dress fits amazing! Although it's loose, it's not drowning. + I love the longer length! You can find the dress here! Also, if you usually stay away from dresses because of discomfort, no need to worry here! This dress is super easy to throw on, and it's beyond comfy!  ok... tbh  I was totally freezing.. so you might wanna add a cardigan if it's cold where you live example a:  lol Since Easter is right around the corner, I thought I'd share one of my favorite Bible verses with you! "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Psalm 46:...

Versatility In Your Wardrobe- Dresses

Image
Hey fellow fashionistas! A really important thing in anyone's wardrobe is versatility. I mean, you can't wear one item and never wear it again! Mixing and matching outfits is something fashionistas pride themselves on all around the world. I try my hardest to create a completely new look with all my clothes. The cool thing is, nobody will know if you wear the same shirt twice in the school week! You will accessorize and pair it totally different! I'm going to show you how to create the illusion that you own a lot of clothes, when the reality is.. you're just a master of outfit creating. Ok, there's a twist! A lot of people think of separates for mixing & matching, and they usually think of dresses as a one-time dressy outfit. Dresses can be made super casual! The looks created today will all include a dress! Don't be afraid to rock one to school or just running errands, these are super comfy and laid back! (1) Add a button down under one of your favori...
