Running Essentials!
Hey guys!
This post is all about running. I absolutely love to run! It's an outlet for me, and it makes me feel really good! I'm on my school's XC team, and we practice everyday. If you guys are into running, or any other sports- this post may be helpful!
Here are a few of my fitness must-haves!
(1) My Arm Band
I love listening to music when I run. Before I had this, I was just carrying my phone- super inefficient. Although I can't use this for XC, this is perfect for leisure runs. This fits my iPhone 5c perfectly, and has a nice pocket inside for a key or cards. It is super easy to put on, and really awesome quality. Highly recommend!
These exact shorts are out of stock, but here are very similar ones. I LOVE these SO much- they're exactly what I need! I've raced in them quite a few times for XC.
These shoes are awesome. They have the three things that I look for in a running shoe. Comfort, performance, and style. I need a supportive shoe that still goes fast since I practice everyday, and race once to twice a week. The Pegasus is such a classic style of running shoe, but I love how Nike gave it completely new look. This article is a super cool look at how the Nike Pegasus has evolved.
(4) Running Outfit 2
This is the perfect outfit for colder weather. This top is nice and breathable, but still warm. It is pretty spendy, but worth the investment. I have used this for a few years now!
Honestly, picking out a pair of Lululemon leggings can be super stressful. I would recommend one black tight, and a fun-colored crop. I have these two, and they are both great for different uses. My black full length tights are my favorite for running. I linked up the entire leggings section. I recommend taking the time to go to a store and try a few pairs on, because they are all super different.

This is a pretty typical outfit for me. It works great for Summer, Spring, & early Fall runs. Everything is so comfortable!

(5) A water bottle is the most important item to own. Staying hydrated, especially when you work out, is super important. I have always struggled with drinking water, but it helps when I always carry a water bottle with me. I also love putting fruit into my water for added flavor.
