Fall Recap

Hey fellow fashionistas! I can't even believe winter is here?! I mean..... finding snow out your window is never pleasant. Let's just say.... I'm missing Fall!! Anyone else??
Basically, I've been in a blogging rut. No more fun fall backdrops...... only freezing snow!! I love taking pictures outside, the lighting always seems to be perfect. But now, if I go outside without major gear......I have frostbite!? It's insane.........
So.. I thought I would bask in fall one last time. Here are some things I've been up to this fall! It's been a pretty busy season!!
Volunteerism! 
I discovered a lot of new organizations and volunteer opportunities this fall!! It always feels good to give back, and it sure helps your resume :)

Donuts!! 
I've recently been going crazy over a local shop. They make any Friday morning so much better!!

Frontenac State Park!
This place is amazing. Really...... perfect place for a fall day. And it helps that it overlooks water :)

Gosh.... I've been obsessed. Seriously....... ever since I stumbled upon her quotes online.... woah! 
Let's just say I was so obsessed, I was her for halloween:) 
Starting my blog! 
I started my blog in late October. It feels like so long ago?! 
I started this blog to express my love for fashion. So many people put fashion down, and say it isn't important. I completely disagree. I think fashion can give anyone self confidence! I know that when I wear an outfit I love, I am so much more confident! A lot of people close to me in my life could care less about fashion. But... I think we all care about we wear..... even if we don't express it. People wear what makes them feel good, and fashion enables that! So many people challenge the whole idea of fashion. They challenge the idea that fashion can actually help people! I think if people knew more about fashion... they would understand. For so many years, I was one of those people. I didn't really understand that fashion has power! After learning that fashion can completely change someone's life, I had a whole new outlook. 
A little fashion rant for you guys.....

The First Week Of School- OOTW

Hey guys! Back to school season is here, and I have mixed emotions. I'm super excited for Fall fashion, but I hate leaving behind the relaxing days of Summer!  The first week is a super stressful time, but having cute outfits makes it a lot easier!  Here are 5 outfits to inspire you, and to personalize for your own style. (1) First Day!   This look is SO ME! It looks really polished, & totally unique.  Skirt - On Sale!!!  Backpack - Here is the brand, but I couldn't find the exact backpack- I found it at a super specialty store!
